Hello, I'm Dean Frazeur, the Senior Pastor of Goochland Baptist Church. I have the privilege of guiding our church family - along with many other loving people. I’m most visible on Sunday mornings at the front of the church but being a pastor involves serving God behind the scenes as well. What am I like when nobody is looking? Here are some clues.

BASIC STUFF:  God graciously gave me Susan as my wife for almost 32 years before taking her home in September.  From the beginning we had four-legged kids (dogs and cats). Currently, I have three dogs, all of whom have been rescued from shelters. 

Professionally, I come from a business background – food manufacturing to be exact.   I have also taught Business at the Jr. College and Community College level. I’ve been a pastor for 20 years, 8+ years at GBC. I love being a pastor in the Richmond Metro - West area with our wonderful people.

“For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.  You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:11-13
