Bible Year Reading Group

The Bible is meant to be read in community, together with others.

We’re inviting anyone interested in growing in their faith and learning how to read the Bible to join us on a journey of reading the entire Bible in 2022.

We'll be beginning our New Testament readings on Monday, August 15.

This summer, Pastor Curt and Ellen Melton will facilitate a group discussion based on each week’s assigned readings on Sunday mornings at 11:45 in the Multipurpose Room.  We'll be following the plan from The Bible Year: A Journey Through Scripture in 365 Days.

The way the year is structured, you can join at any time, or even drop out for a season.  Each week, you'll be given the readings for the next week, and then we'll discuss what we've read on Sundays.  Even if you haven't been reading through the Old Testament with us, we'd love to have you join as we read the New Testament!

We'll take a week off on Labor Day Weekend, and then starting Sunday, September 11, we'll meet at 5:00 pm in the MPR as part of Sunday Connect.  Stay for dinner afterwards!

As an option, we have a book of daily devotionals that correspond with each day's reading throughout the year.  Those are available for $15.00.  For more information, see Ellen Melton.

If you’re looking for a way to deepen your relationship with God and to learn how to better read the Bible, we hope you’ll join us!
