"There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good." 1 Corinthians 12:4-7

Sunday service and other GBC events would not be possible without the time and gifts that our volunteers put into serving our church. If you are not currently serving somewhere at GBC, would be able to commit to one Sunday a month, and would be interested in one of the opportunities to serve below, please fill out the interest form at the bottom of this page or email us for more information.

• Greeters/Ushers - welcome people in to the worship space and help them find a seat; help with offering and communion.

• Responsive Reading - lead the congregation in alternate reading of a scheduled text during service.

• Offertory Prayer - lead the congregation in prayer during our giving of tithes and offerings.

• Music - there are many places to serve if music is one of your gifts: praise team, piano, special music, seasonal choirs, hand bells, children’s worship events and more.

• Photography/Videography - are you good with a camera? Snap some photos or short videos on Sunday mornings or during events that can be used on our website, social media, and in our newsletter.

• Sound Booth (sound/slides) - help make Sunday morning look and sound great.

• Children* - serving kids and serving parents with kids in our nursery during each service or Sunday School.

• Youth* - Middle School and High School ministry – Sunday & Wednesday nights.
